What attracted you to the newfoundland breed? We wanted a giant breed dog with a good disposition that we could take camping and boating.

Do you remember the first time you met a newfoundland? We always wanted a giant breed, and in 2015 a friend's parents adopted a puppy newfie. Since then, we knew we wanted one ourselves.
Do you allow your dogs on your bed or furniture? He's not allowed on the bed and allowed on the couch when invited.
Do you groom your own dog? Yes
How to often do you trim your dog's nails? Do you or someone else trim the nails and how do they do it? Every 2-3 weeks. He's does not love it. We go one paw at a time spread over a few days to get it done.
Tell us something cute or sweet that your newf does? He loves to use our feet as a chin rest. It's great when the weather is cold.
How has the newfoundland dog impacted your life? Do you have a fond memory that you would like to share? Anxiously driving several hours to go pickup our newf as a puppy and getting to bond with him on the long drive back home.
