​Hello, my name is Madison Carolan. I am 14 years old and I live in Tega Cay, South Carolina. I have always been a dog lover but my step-dad was the one who introduced me to the Newfoundland breed. I like how loving, furry, playful, and gentle they are. I started helping with training and stewarding for water rescue and draft and going to dog shows to support family friends. Watching them, I gained an interest in junior handling. With support of my mentor, family, and friends, I have grown to love it! Being a Jr Handler, I am creating strong bonds with my Newfs , while gaining self-confidence, and growing physically, mentally, and socially. I look forward to improving my skills in and out of the ring as well as getting the opportunity to show different kinds of dogs.
