Our sweet boy, Gentle Giant Max Bear CGCA was honored to receive his therapy dog certificate from Alliance of Therapy Dogs (ATD). Max has had a great time bringing cheer to the residents of Franke Place in Mt. Pleasant, SC along with owners Cam Mateus and Joe Reardon. During the pandemic, Max Bear provided good cheer to his busy doctor dads while they were taking care of patients via telemedicine. We are so blessed to have our Therapy Newf and cannot wait to see the smiles he will bring to many during his visits. A little more about Max Bear: he is originally from Belleville Kansas, but was adopted at the age of 4 months. He is currently almost 2 years old and enjoys giving people unlimited attention with body hugs and kisses. He is deathly afraid of babies holding water hoses, but lets out a good howl to let his dads know that he needs comfort. His future plans include providing therapy to ill patients in the Upstate of SC.
